Events and Lectures Events Hyde Park Jazz Festival Saturday, September 25 2:15 - 4:45 PM Free and open to the Public Jazz enthusiasts! As part of the fourth annual Hyde Park Jazz Festival the Oriental Institute will be featuring several big names in local jazz: 2:15 - 2:45 PM Jazz flutist Steve Flowers and keyboard artist Roger Harris will perform amidst the awe-inspiring colossal sculpture of the Museum's Persian Gallery 3:00 - 4:00 PM The Charlie Johnson Quartet will delight jazz lovers with a mix of great jazz and a dash of funk and blues. 4:15 - 4:45 Steve Flowers and Roger Harris will perform once more in the Persian Gallery. The Hyde Park Jazz Festival will also be presenting back-to-back jazz for music lovers of all ages at other cultural venues throughout Hyde Park.
